The gallery

Klaudia Marr Gallery is a contemporary art space in New York founded around a simple conviction: emerging artists deserve the same seriousness of presentation as established names. The exhibition room rotates roughly every six weeks, moving between painting, sculpture, and works on paper, with each show built as a conversation between two or three practices rather than a crowded group hang.

What we do

The program runs on two tracks. Public exhibitions present emerging and mid-career artists, each accompanied by a short written catalog and a walk-through with the curator. Alongside it, the gallery offers private art consulting: helping new and established collectors navigate acquisition, framing, installation, and long-term care, with advice that treats collecting as a relationship with art, not a transaction.

How we work with artists

Represented artists are chosen through studio visits, often years before their first gallery show. We commit to a schedule, to fair and transparent pricing, and to placing works where they will be lived with and seen. Collectors, in turn, get straightforward information about provenance and condition before anything is reserved.

Visit

Exhibitions are free and open to the public during gallery hours, and no appointment is needed to walk the floor. If you are beginning a collection, curious about a particular work, or an artist hoping to be seen, come to a current exhibition first — the art on the wall says more about us than any statement can. Fine art, contemporary art, and the conversations between them: that is what this gallery is for.
