We are very pleased to announce six opening events of video and electronic media work by six groundbreaking artists: media pioneer Steina Vasulka, Mariannah Amster, Susanna Carlisle, Anne Farrell, Sky David, and Frank Ragano, who draw technology into the service of beauty, imagination, and the potency of ideas.

SUMMER CURRENTS showcases new media installations that use technology with grace and vision. The exhibit includes video and electronic media presented on monitors, as projections, as elements in sculptural installations, and as a component of performance.


The group's work premiered last year at The Center for Contemporary Arts in Santa Fe, NM. Conceived as a traveling exhibition, (SUMMER) CURRENTS has just returned from the Ybor City, FL, International Festival of the Moving Image, and has also been installed at Art Santa Fe, an international art fair, in New Mexico.
